| Wabash? They lived well, commerce
| |
| | many Wigwams, smoke filling the air on

| continued to flow throughout the region

| | the flats at the mouth of that river.

| | Trade items coming in, and leaving, in

| moved forward into an age that would

| | boats of every description, dugouts,
|
| eventually swallow them up, swirling them

| | birchbark, heavy river tugs. One should

| United States. This motion inexorably

| | pleasing to see it in the mind.Eleven

| significantly, daily movements, personal

| | them, to eradicate their way of life

| contacts, language, lifestyles and much

| | forever.This is but the beginning of

| more. Pressures of being humans, finding

| travel and live, ate away at the

| | teacher of Indian People, travelling to

| other furbearing animals. Trading these

| | bring the Ways of our Ancestors to those
|
| hides, for durable goods, gave the Indian
| |
| | who can least afford it, and desire it
|
| People an opportunity to live more
| |
| | the most. My hands and mind belong to the
|
| comfortably, amidst the French, English,
| |
| | People who came before us, and it is they
|
| and some Americans, who became their
| |
| | whom I serve.
